The new volumes mark the entrance into a residential neighborhood, where the preservation of greenery is a key priority.

The program is structured around two buildings, whose design creates a clear street frontage while maintaining a fully planted inner courtyard. A stepped massing ensures a smooth transition between single-family homes and adjacent collective housing. The compactness of the buildings is carefully considered to enhance both private and shared spaces. The site’s topography allows for ground-floor commercial spaces at street level, while the residential units are slightly elevated, ensuring greater privacy, including for loggias facing the street.
 
Ensuring long-term durability through its monolithic materiality, the facades echo the local stone architecture. Along the street, in addition to loggias, engravings further highlight the depth of the building envelope.

A pronounced slab edge marks each level, reinforcing the raw, stone-like character of the new volumes. On the garden side, the facades are smoother yet remain dynamic, thanks to exterior walkways and large balconies

Each home is designed for maximum comfort, with living spaces benefiting from the best exposures. Large apartments are positioned at the ends of the buildings, taking advantage of a triple orientation, while the majority of units are already dual-aspect. All apartments have a private outdoor space with sufficient depth to ensure its livability.

With a strong focus on carbon-conscious design, this project aims to significantly reduce energy losses.
Each facade has been carefully studied to optimize glazed surfaces and regulate solar gain through adjustable sunshades or shutters.
